TGP80, also known as NAK80, is a mirror-finish mold steel developed and manufactured by Tiangong International. It is produced via ESR electroslag remelting special smelting process and hardened by precipitation / age hardening to HRC 38-42. This steel grade features uniform microstructure and consistent hardness, with excellent dimensional stability. It is weld-repairable and enables 10–20% faster machining speed compared with conventional plastic mold steels such as P20. No stress relief treatment is required even after heavy machining. It can be nitrided and delivers superior polishing performance.
S136 is produced by Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group (China North Industries Group), made via special ESR electroslag remelting for ultra-low P, S and non-metallic inclusions. Plastic product surface quality relies on mold surface finish. Non-metallic inclusions and segregation directly affect steel polishability.As 420-series stainless steel, S136 offers corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high polishability. It withstands attack by steam, moisture, weak acids, diluted nitrates and carbonates. S136 molds perform well under humid working/storage conditions or when molding corrosive plastics.S136 is ideal for small & medium molds.
TGP33 is high-grade stainless steel by Tiangong International. Special process & alloying elements deliver ultra-low non-metallic inclusions (DS=0.5) and high hardness.With corrosion resistance, superior polishability and good toughness, it is ideal for large stainless steel molds for medical, optical and high-clarity transparent parts.
TGP36 (S136) is produced by Tiangong International with special ESR process, achieving ultra-low P/S and ultra-low non-metallic inclusions.Plastic product surface quality relies on mold surface finish. Non-metallic inclusions and segregation affect steel polishability.As 420-series stainless steel, TGP36 offers corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high polishability. TGP39 is a premium high-grade stainless steel developed and manufactured by Tiangong International. It is produced by a special process with the addition of specific chemical elements to ensure ultra-low non-metallic inclusions and satisfy high-hardness requirements.TGP39 features corrosion resistance and excellent polishability. Its hardness after quenching can reach HRC 54~58, making it the optimal choice for medical device and cosmetic makeup molds.
